 With the popularity of the technology that focuses on

entertainment, people read fewer books than before?
Therefore books used to be used for people’s entertainment, but with the advances of
technology books started to get forgotten. First, it was television presenting people a new way
for entertainment, for them it was visual representation of what they read, showing them
sometimes fictional or real stories; it was simply fascinating for them. More and more
technological advances started to appear. Long time after that, computers arrived, also offering a
new way of entertainment but also made things such as research, etc. With it internet appeared,
more and more people “joined” it. It was a base of information, few time later SOCIAL MEDIA
appeared with it platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, etc. Platforms like this offer entertainment
for hours and hours, the content you can find in there is almost endless. Now what are the
consequences of nowadays generations not reading at all? With less and less people reading the
society is every time less educated, people is becoming each time more ignorant, they don’t
have any deep knowledge, just basic things that they are taught at school; and peoples
orthography is becoming worse every time.
