Good morning audience,

First of all I would like to thank the Almighty for His abundant blessings so that we can meet as
usual today. Good morning to the good Principal, fellow teachers, school administration staff, and
friends who I am proud of. Today, June 6, 2021 I will give information about Technology . Therefore
my talk today will contain some information related to technology. Technology is the most
important factor in today's world. Humans cannot be separated from technology because
technology makes human life easier. Let's look at an example starting from the smallest scope,
namely the school. We cannot deny that this technology is very useful for education. Schools are
equipped with technological tools such as computers, internet, telephones, and other technological
devices. Internet availability in schools helps students get unlimited lessons or information with
just one click.

Technology helps students to communicate with many people even with those who live outside
Indonesia. Technology helps students create networks that will benefit your future career.
Technology increases student engagement and motivation in the learning process, teachers use
technological tools such as in-focus screens in the classroom to make the learning process less
boring. As I mentioned earlier, technology gives students access to up-to-date information available
online. You can access or download e-books or journals on the website so that lessons become more
interesting and varied. HOWEVER, there are a few words however. Not all impacts caused by
technology are positive, technology can be very dangerous if you can't manage it properly.
Especially now that you are equipped with a cell phone. Are there students who don't have cell
phones? No, every student has it. These phones are so personal that it can sometimes be very
difficult for parents to keep an eye on their kids. Instead of waiting for an adult to watch over you, I
want to warn you because I believe you are mature enough to choose what is right or wrong.

Technological developments offer many applications for download that are compatible with your
mobile phone. You name it, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, Path, and
so on, all available for you. But are you aware that these modern applications will destroy your life
if you can't manage them properly? The simplicity of getting everything through one click is
actually dangerous. A lot of dangerous content is spread on the internet such as pornography,
gamble, bullying, illegal transactions, and even terrorism. These things are clearly inappropriate for
high school students. without further guidance, students or minors can access pornographic sites,
videos or images via YouTube. This will be a factor that leads to free sex or juvenile delinquency.
Twitter and Facebook are social media platforms to communicate with people around the world
but these social media can have negative impacts such as cyber bullying and even kidnapping. Your
mentality is very vulnerable and unstable, you tend to express what you want to say on your
Facebook profile or tweet your opinion boldly.

Students may think that you are free to express yourself in social media profiles without
considering the side effects, your tweets may indirectly lead to cyber bullying or may offend some
people. Regarding kidnapping, there are many cases that occur in Indonesia. Teenagers meet a new
acquaintance on Facebook, then they agree to meet each other somewhere, worst case can lead to
rape, theft and kidnapping. The last example is Instagram, Instagram is an application to share daily
life through pictures. Not all of you are from high class families, students see friends' posts on
Instagram and they feel jealous of it. The worst case is theft, someone steals luxury items like what
is shown on his friend's Instagram photo. I hope that my students use technology wisely. What's
more, I encourage you to use technology to maximize your inner potential. Maybe that's all I can
