    Angel falls

    Angel falls is the worlds tallest waterfall at


    979 meters tall and is found in Canaima
    national park.
    It was named after its discoverer Jimmy
    Angel when he discovered it on a flight in
    his plane but at first no one would believe
    him because of the length he claimed it to
    be and everyone said it was impossible. It
    wasn't until later that it was proven he
    wasn't lying and that the waterfall did ex-
    ist so it was later named angel falls.

    Angel falls was also the inspiration for the location “paradise falls” in the
    2009 film up were it was the main setting for the majority of the movie.
