Settings are pulled directly from

the memory of the PCB only
when the CANOpen App is in

Settings manager pulls the settings from the PCB’s and stores them in C:\log\SettingsData.dat

Settings Manager stores a log of every time settings are downloaded or uploaded from/to a robot.

Save the settings to a .SMD file that can only be used with the
settings manager program. This file format fits what is stored in
SettingsData.dat in C:\log

Open a .SMD file to import in the settings manager program. Can be

used to send settings to another robot, example default LH startup
settings.

Export settings to a .TXT file that is used with the Settings

Manager Analysis Tool in Excel.

Note:

Not all settings can be overwritten when uploading settings to the robot!

The following group of settings can not be overwritten and thus must be toggled
or changed on the robot.

• Copy the spreadsheet to the path where the .TXT files are stored and the
“Browse & Get Settings” button will open current path.

• “Browse & Get Settings” button also auto compares all selected files and
searches for -1’s on import. Also if check is OK it auto compares that row to the
default or recommended settings and flags any deviations in the default column.

• Color coded settings to filter based on logical functions of the settings.

• Check boxes to hide all settings except color coded setting group selected.

• Buttons to hide all settings stored on a PCB except the button pressed.

• Compatible with all versions of Excel (2010 to 2016)
