2.Both part A and part B have internal choices.
Part – A:
1.It consists of two sections I and II.
2.Section I has 9 questions of 1 mark each. Internal choice is provided in 2 questions.
3.Section II has 1question on case study .The case study has 5 case based sub-parts. An examinee
is to attempt any 4 out of 5 sub- parts.
Part - B
1.Question No.11 and 12 are very short answer type questions of 2 marks each
2.Question no. 13 is short answer type question of 3 marks
3.Question no. 14 is long answer type question of 5 marks.
4. All questions are compulsory .Internal choice is provided in 1 question of 2 marks,
1 question of 3 marks and 1 question of 5 marks.

1. If HCF (a ,b) = 12 and a x b = 3600, then what is LCM (a , b) ?

5. In the given figure, the pair of tangents AP and AQ drawn from an external point
A to a circle with centre O are perpendicular to each other and length of each
tangent is 5 cm. Find the radius of the circle.

A tangent PQ at a point P of a circle of radius 5 cm meets a line through


the centre O at a point Q so that OQ = 12 cm, then find the length of PQ.
6. From an external point P, tangents PA and PB are drawn to a circle with centre
