COURSE DESCRIPTION
Presentation Skills is a most sought after skill, probably only next to communication skills in the
professional world today. Effective presentation skills help both the individual and the
organisation to succeed in this competitive world.
The course equips students with the basic skills required to make impactful presentations across
the program and as future managers. It covers content basics for slide content and audience
orientation and especially focuses on specific inputs for business presentations. These would
include a focus on speaking skills and delivery, non-verbal aspects and handling Q & A.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This workshop is designed to assist students enhance their presentation skills. At the end of this
course, the participants should be able to:
Identify their strengths and work on their weaknesses for effective presentations
Understand specific ways to improve the structure and content of presentations
Use non-verbal skills effectively in presentation situations
Understand language and behavioural techniques useful for Q&A
PEDAGOGY/TEACHING METHOD:
The course will involve lecture inputs, class discussions, peer evaluation, videos.
