Test I. Discuss how you will respond to the cases presented. What advice can you give and
explain the reasons?

Situation 1: Meeting someone in person you met online.

A classmate met somebody online and was asked about her phone number and address. She
confides in you and you notice that she seems to have been hooked on chatting with this 'friend'.
You know that there is a possibility that she will be invited for a personal meeting. What advice
would you give?

- I recommend not giving her personal information because it could be dangerous, such as
if some strange people or a psychopath approached her. Meeting someone online and
then having the person ask for your personal information is somewhat of a sign that you
should ignore the person with whom you’re communicating online, especially if you
don’t have any background information about the person or even if the person is
anonymous.

Situation 2:
Your best friend and you do not seem to like a group of classmates. You were asked to take
pictures of them in a school activity and since you have the file, your best friend chided you to
distort their picture and post it on the internet. What should you do?

- Prefer not to distort the images; even though there are some groups of people we hate,
there must always be kindness. Ignore the person you don’t like and just show kindness
because if you take an action that might get their attention, it would cause conflict.

Situation 3:
In your cooking class, you are talking to a classmate about finding a perfect friend. So you asked
him, "If you could cook up the perfect friend, what special ingredients would you include? What
is your friend like? What qualities do you think are important for a friendship to be healthy?

- Dependability, support for another, and honesty. These are the qualities that are important
for having a healthy friendship because relying on one another shows assurance and
honesty toward each other. The comfort of having these qualities toward a friend shows
that they respect and value one another.

Test II.
1. Examine your social networking profile. In which sites are you active? Please enumerate.
- Facebook
- Messenger
- Tiktok
- Netflix
- Youtube
- Instagram
2. Can you think of possibilities on how you can use your social networking site as an
educational tool? Describe clearly how you can appropriately utilize it in your lesson.

- Using the Facebook app somehow became an educational tool as it showed news, but
some news was not accurate. Yet the most convenient educational tools I have been using
were YouTube and Tiktok because these apps showed qualities of education.
