Essential Understanding The very thought of death and the mystery surrounding it certainly causes a lot of grief and anxiety to a person, but it is an essential element in the human condition which definitely deserves attention. Only in reflecting on the reality of death can we begin to explore and understand the meaning of our own existence.

GRASPS Goal – To demonstrate understanding of absurdity and death Role – Bereaved Audience – Parents, relatives, friends, teachers, classmates Situation – Students will conduct a reenactment or dramatization of a necrological service. They have to imagine that their parent, relative, friend, girl/boyfriend, teacher, or classmate or any person they deeply love, or value just died. Each of them shall prepare a written eulogy that can be delivered in three minutes.
