    - czynności przeszłe dokonane - dłuższe, niedokonane czynności w przeszłości


    - czynności, które wydarzyły się jedna po drugiej - dwie lub więcej czynności trwających
    w przeszłości jednocześnie
    - czynności krótkie, które przerwały czynność - czynności długie, które zostały przerwane
    długą przez czynność krótką

    last night – wczoraj w nocy as - gdy
    last week – w ubiegłym tygodniu all day – cały dzień
    two days ago – dwa dni temu all morning – cały ranek
    a month ago – miesiąc temu all day yesterday – cały wczorajszy dzień
