PRAYER FOR THE APOSTOLIC JOURNEY TO BAHRAIN 

 
Loving and gracious God, Shepherd of your faithful people,
look with favour on your servant Pope Francis
whom you established as head and shepherd of your Church.
 
We entrust him to your fatherly care, 
that, as he makes his journey to Bahrain,
he will travel in peace and joy,
bringing the good news of salvation to all he meets.

God of mercy and compassion, we lift up to you the Kingdom of

Bahrain as we prepare for the Holy Father’s apostolic visit to this
beloved land. 

Make us people of mercy and messengers of peace to all people of

good will. 
 
May your grace move our hearts, leading us to love you more
deeply and serve you more generously.  
 
May the Holy Spirit
guide us to seek You in all things
so that in every path we follow,
we may remain wholeheartedly faithful to you.
