Assessment;
1. What is the difference between Nation and State?
 The difference between Nation and State is, Nation is more on cultural and
ethnic, they are the group of people who felt bound into a single body. While
State is about political and geopolitical entity, in short, a territory with its
own institution and population.
2. What are the elements of a State?
 The elements of a state are; Population, Territory, Government and
Sovereignty which make power, exclusive title and human political
institution.
3. Discuss Internationalism.
 Internationalism is about political principle that advocates greater political
cooperation among state and nation. It enhanced international cooperation
and capacity building which improved quality of learning, skills and
teaching. Also associated movements that reflect doctrine and belief.
4. Discuss the historical evolution of international politics.
 The historical evolution of international politics focusses on the role of
intersocietal and interstate in relation to the evolution of human societies to
contemporary global system. This evolution focuses on structural change
and the historical evolution of human institutions.
5. Discuss the interstate system.
 Interstate system is commonly called international system which focus on
the field of international relationship. The main goal of interstate system is
to promote or contribute peace and security to it’s and for its people.

Reflection;
 I can say that the history of global politics was the beginning that created
order within which people could live peacefully with one another by
accepting set of rules that shaped their relations with one another. The
international relations go beyond peace and war and identities how
resolution and cooperation can be reached. Internal relations sought to
restore hereditary and religious privileges.

Assessment;
1. What are the organs of United Nation? Discuss their functions.
 The organs of United Nation are; General assembly which is the main
deliberative policymaking and representative organ of the United Nation. 2)
Security council the primary responsible under UN charter to maintain peace
and security. 3) Economic and Social Council the principal body for
coordination, policy review, policy dialogue recommendation on economic.
4) Trusteeship Council provide international supervision that had been
placed under the administration. 5) International court of Justice which give
advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by authorized. Lastly,
Secretarial that mandated by the general assembly and the organizations of
other principal bodies.
2. What are the members of the security council?
 The members of the security council are; India, Germany, Portugal, South
Africa, Bosnia, Gabon, Lebanon, Nigeria, Colombia, US, Russia, France,
China, Brazil and Britain. But Security Council have five permanent
members, China, United States, France, United Kingdom and Russian
Federation.
3. Define Global Governance.
 Global Governance refer to the need for cooperation and alliance of states
before growing multinational problems like terrorism, environmental issues,
epidemic human rights and etc. They provide needs for big establishment.
4. Determine the challenges of global governance in the 21st century.
 The challenges of global governance in the 21st century including climate
change, energy security, food and water scarcity, international migration
flow, infectious disease, terrorism, increasingly of technologies and poverty.
5. What are the challenges of the UN in maintaining global security?
 The challenges of the UN in maintaining global security are threats from
poverty, disease, environmental breakdown, threats from conflict between
states, and threats from violence and human rights which things worst, that
people limit their actions because they afraid.

Reflection;
 The in charge of global governance today is the United Nation. The United
Nation mandate is to preserve global security which encompasses the
institutions, policies and norms for stability. The United Nations concerned
with global issues and having a goal or objectives of maintaining peace and
security and it is necessary because we are facing many problems globally.
