Discuss the following: (5pts each)
1. Article III in the Philippine Constitution
No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of
law, nor shall any person be denied the equal protection of the laws
2. Article III Section 2 The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be
by Jury; and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been
committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or
Places as the Congress may by Law have directed.
3. Article III Section 8 the right of the people, including those employed in the public
and private sectors, to form unions, associations, or societies for purposes not
contrary to law shall not be abridged.
4. Article III Section 18 No person shall be detained solely by reason of his political
beliefs and aspirations
5. Article III Section 19

Excessive fines shall not be imposed, nor cruel, degrading or inhuman punishment
inflicted. Neither shall the death penalty be imposed, unless, for compelling reasons
