Shepard balances this journey with dexterity as she spends her Fulbright year, with an old hand-drawn map and her grandmother's family tree, unraveling the mysteries of Nana's past while visiting and photographing the grand and minuscule synagogues in Bombay and on the Konkan Coast.

NeW - Dancing without Partners


(in partnership with YORK UNIVeRSITY) Older adults of any ability and experience are invited to attend this dance class that will oer a mixture of dance forms. Each class will begin with a gentle but lively set of warm-up exercises which will prepare the joints and muscles for moving fully. The remainder of the class will be spent learning and practicing two to three dance steps or styles. The focus of the class content will be based on the interests of the participants, with the specic focus on health and wellbeing and injury prevention.
