2) Test Instruments
a) Lighting Source (with bulb rating of 30watts and above)
b) Marker

3) Testing Procedure
a) Prepare a segment/portion of the duct to be tested. Ensure that all duct joints and connections are properly welded and sealed.
b) Prepare a good movable lighting source with enough lumens to get a satisfactory result.
c) Pass the lighting source inside the duct focusing on joints, connections, welded areas and corners.
d) If the inspector see any light coming from the inner duct that means that the connection is not properly sealed.
e) Mark all the connections and areas where the light is visible from outside and sealed off the gap before conducting another test.
f) Record the result on the table below. Use another sheet if needed.
