Subject: Patriotism Day 2022

Dear Parents/Guardians,
In an effort to build nationalism and patriotism amongst our students and to recognise the country’s
60th Diamond Jubilee anniversary of independence and 46 years as a Republic, Friday 23rd
September, 2022 has been scheduled as “Patriotism Day”.
Students will be allowed to attend school out of the normal uniform at a cost, wearing clothing in the
national colours, red, black and white. All red, all black or all white are not recommended but a
mix of colours. Students may attend in non-national colours if they do not have appropriate clothing
in national colours. but this is discouraged. The cost is $10.00 payable upon entry at the gate. School
Polo shirt with jeans may also be worn.
Students are not allowed to wear the following:
• Vests or any T-Shirt exposing shoulders, caps or hats
• Distressed / Torn Jeans
• Skirts or casual dresses above the knees, short or ¾ pants
• See through tops, spaghetti straps, tube tops, strapless tops
• Clothing with vulgar or explicit images or writings
• Tight fitting clothing, leggings etc

Students who do not wish to participate must wear their normal full school uniform. Parents will
be asked to pick up their child/ward from the school who do not conform to the dress code. Please note
that this is a regular school day, therefore students must follow their timetables and come to school
prepared to work. We look forward to your support in this and future events.
