COURSE POLICIES

 Attendance is necessary for each student to obtain maximum benefits for instruction. Attendance will
be checked via comments, reactions on the posted lectures, queries and videos on the LMS used.
 Exams will be online and students must be well informed of the scheduled dates through
announcements, chats and group messages. There will be a fixed amount of time allotted for every

exam. In the event that the internet connectivity of a student is disrupted/lost during the examination,
he/she will be given a consideration to take the exam again at a given date that he/she must secure a
good connectivity at the given time.
 Midterm and Final will be given at the time prepared by the College. All students must take the major
exams. An announcement whether it will be a face-to-face examination or an online examination will
be given one week prior to the scheduled date.
 Assignments and problem sets must be submitted on time at the end of the clustered semester and it
shall also must be acceptable engineering form including a problem statement, labeled drawings of the
system considered and all equations and units must be shown or the problem will not be graded.
 Group studying and peer teaching is encouraged to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students.
For students living in the same boarding house, dormitory or in the same area may have/conduct a
group study whilst strictly following the IATF protocols.
 Queries on the lessons/topics will be entertained during weekdays.

STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

To address special needs of differentially abled students in the class, concerned students are
encouraged to inform the instructor at the start of the semester for special considerations.

GRADING SYSTEM
Grading will be based on:
Major examination (MTE and FTE) - 40%
Class Standing - 60%
Quizzes 35%
Problem Sets 20%
Assignment 5%
TOTAL 100%

METHODS OF COMPUTATION
Absolute zero shall be used in all examinations and quizzes.
