1. Our first discussion will talk about if students have
ever built snowman’s and talk about the difficulties
they encountered.
2. Ask the students what they think will happen if you
give your snowman hot cocoa
3. Introduce the book and mention that we will be
reading a book called “Sneezy the Snowman”.

4. Ask them what they think the story will be about by

looking at the title and the cover of the story

5. While reading the story ask the students questions

like where the book is taking place, what is the
problem of the story.

6. After reading the book, provide students with a copy

and have them read it with a partner.

7. Have partners discuss the setting, characters, the

solution to the problem of the story.

8. Have students complete the worksheet together but

provide each an individual paper. (students are
allowed to draw pictures to go with their sentence)

9. After they are done with the worksheet, have

advanced kids complete the worksheet called
“Sneezy’s ABC order” and lower and middle kids
complete the word search
