The reason for this is because parents are the people who know
their children best and the ones who support and give financial
resources. Therefore, in the context of the curriculum, parents'
participation as co-implementer and supporters in curriculum
development is crucial to enhancing students' learning and
influencing their behavior.
Parents influence the implementation of the curriculum by playing
a vital role in monitoring the lessons taught at schools, filling the
gap between their children and the school administration by
providing various resources which are not available in school.
Teachers often take help of parents for monitoring the social and
behavioral development of a child, especially for special educational
needs.
● Students
As the center of the curriculum, they study the curriculum. They
are the recipients of the curriculum being implemented and their
performance is being evaluated for effectiveness.
● Community Officials
Community leaders serve as the basis for determining what
curricula or programs may be adopted and can meet the needs of
the community.
● Professional Organizations
Psychologists and social workers are known for their contribution
towards special schools and their children. These stakeholders
provide useful options for dealing with students of foreign origin or
those with disabilities. Often acting as school board members,
community members are usually seen contributing to the various
resources which are not found at school premises.
● Alumni
The alumni helps the programs of the institution. They are can
also become benefactors and helps conducts sponsorship for
institutional activitites
● Researchers
The one who is responsible for the curriculum’s innovation. They
make sure that the curriculum is still effective and useful.
