Commentary

Utsav Amitendu Agarwal: No other frontline Indian

spinner could have done what Ashwin did today.
That's the benefit of having him as the spinner. Gives
valuable runs from the bat when needed and in T20s
these little things matter a lot.

Angad: If India makes the semis, Kohli has to be the

Man of the Tournament!

KL Rahul: Been mixed feelings. I got some good

knocks before coming to Australia. But the first three
games haven't gone my way. I think I was doing a lot
of things right. I wasn't worried about missing out in
the last three games. I am happy I got a good innings
under my belt. We will have to bowl well with the new
ball. Some wickets might put pressure on them.

Nisferno: Bangladesh have pushed back things

slightly during last few overs. It'll be an interesting
finish I presume.

Bangladesh, Match 35, Mid-
innings show

20:13 Local Time, 09:43 GMT, 15:13 IST: A massive

score by the Indians after being asked to bat first.
Taskin was nigh unplayable at times and was unlucky
to finish wicketless. But Shakib finished his spell in
search of early wickets and India then prospered. They
lost their captain early, but KL took charge, waited for
Taskin to be done with and then opened up, carving
apart Shoriful as he raised a much-needed 31-ball
half-century. That brought in Suryakumar and he was
onto his job, making a 16-ball 30 before being castled
by Shakib. Hardik, DK and Axar all fell in single digits
as they went in search of quick runs, but Kohli held on,
anchored the innings and then opened up towards the
end. So did Ashwin with a small cameo and India
finish with a fine score. Taskin was excellent, but it
was Hasan Mahmud and Shakib who grabbed all the
wickets to fall. A must-win game for Bangladesh, can
they chase down this total? Back for it shortly..

19.1 Shoriful Islam to Ashwin, no run, short of a

length and angling across the right-hander, Ashwin

things very interesting

18.1 Hasan Mahmud to Axar, out Caught by Shakib!!

Lovely cutter and Axar has chipped one into the hands
of Shakib at cover - change of pace from Hasan, was
the slower ball outside off and undid Axar completely -
was through with the drive, tried to check it at the last
moment and spooned it in the air. Shakib runs back
