ASSIGNMENT 1: VIDEO - HISTORICAL EXPLORATION OF MALAYSIA

INSTRUCTION:

VIDEO:

1. This is group assignment involve 10 students per group.


2. Every group required to prepare a creative video and presentation.
3. For this assignment, students must produce a creative video and presentation.
4. Student have to choose more than THREE (3) historical locations around Kuala
Lumpur, Selangor and Malacca.
5. The video must contain accurate facts and additional information related to the
historical places. It must include the learning outcomes, the interpretation
about the historical places, interviewing THREE (3) Malaysians, visual and
audio quality and video arrangement.
6. The duration of the video is 5-10 minutes.
7. All group members are required to do presentation on the information contained
in the video.
8. The video must include the group name, the title of the topic, MSU logo and
full list of student names in alphabetical order (mandatory).
9. The division of criteria for the video according to the rubric are as follows:

INSTRUCTION:

POSTER:

1. This is group assignment involve 10 students per group.


2. Every group required to prepare a digital poster and presentation.
3. For this assignment, students must invent a creative poster and presentation related
to ONE (1) NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN in Chapter 6. The following are the
relevant titles for the assignment:
(a) FIVE YEAR DEVELOPMENT PLAN (RMK1-11)
(b) NEW ECONOMIC POLICY
(c) NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT POLICY
(d) LOOK EAST POLICY
(e) NATIONAL VISION POLICY
(f) NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION POLICY

The poster must contain accurate facts and additional information related to the figure. It
must include background, strategies, contributions, values and lessons gained to
for improvement to support all information.
4. Students can insert pictures relevant to the topic.
5. The size of the poster is A2.
6. The poster must include the group name, full list of student names in
alphabetical order (mandatory), the title of the topic and MSU logo.
7. The division of criteria for the poster according to the rubric are as follows:

FINAL EXAM 100 30%

 The 3 hours exam consists of two parts.


o PART A: TWENTY FIVE (25) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). 25%
marks = 25 questions.
o PART B: FIVE (5) essays (answer THREE (3) questions only). 75% marks
= 3 essay questions.

 The exam covers from Chapter 3-6 from the syllabus.


 The overall marks for the final examination are 100 and it will be converted to
30% of the assessment.
