Aim:
To determine the weight gain of chicks being fed starter and grower
after a time span of (7) weeks
Methodology
Experimental Design:
The chicks were separated after (3) weeks. One group was fed
starter, the other grower. This continued until the (7) weeks concluded
Materials Used:
Production:
Shovel
Buckets
Shovel
Brooms
Slaughtering:
Cahari pot
Kill cones
Knives
Thermometer
Long handle spoon
Fire side (outdoor)
Activities:
● Cleaning of the area
Before the arrival of the 30 chicks, the area (chicken pen) was
cleared and cleaned thoroughly
● Separation of Chickens
After the 3 weeks were over, the chicks were separated into
groups of 15.
● Slaughtering of Chickens:
When the 7 weeks was completed, the chickens were nnxjxj
d;HD;slaughtered.

Conclusion
After the investigation was conducted,the data gathered showed that
Group A, showed a significant increase in size, unlike Group B.

Total= $111,600
∴ Income= 97 x 5 x 560
= $271,600
Complete Budget : Actual
Total= $25,415
Profit/Loss Comparison
After a comparison of the (2) budgets was made, it was evident that a
profit 2 times the budget was made in both instances. However, the
projected budget made a total of ($271,600 - $111,600= $160,000)
$160,000. While the actual budget made a total of
($89,100 - $$21,415= $63,685) $68,685. This resulted in the projected
budget making more profit than the actual budget.
