LESSON 4: THE GLOBAL INTERSTATE SYSTEM
The world is composed of many states having
different forms of government. It has been one of
the major subjects of scholars of political disciplines
because it is viewed as the institution that sets
policies for the country. This lesson has the different
institutions that govern international relations
in order to facilitate connection among nation
states. The institutions that govern international relations are; the UN and NATO,
the WTO and NAFTA,
ASEAN, EU and NGOs.
This lesson has challenges that most governments
face amid globalization. This topic is much
interesting for us that we should analyze and study
to acquire many ideas about it. It was tackled about
the effects of globalization to governments and it
is not only have one effect but there are four that
gave an impact to governments. The institutions
that govern international relations aims to foster
strong economic, political, cultural, educational
and technical intergovernmental relations that we
should know one by one. As a nursing student, we
should know about this topic global interstate
system to acquire ideas that can help us in our daily
life, we should give our best to study it and we
should know what are their uses in governments,
what are their rules in our world economy.
