Our degree is a professional one, and a professional must has technical knowledge, which is
achieved through experiences. It is the requirement for the completion of Bs engineering
technology electrical degree that the students has to spend minimum 1 year in an organization
as trainee after completing most part of his course. Training has specific purposes. It provides
real life environment to students where they can implement their knowledge practically,
improve their analytic and leadership skills and enhance their capabilities in different aspect of
business field.

At the end of their course they have to write a report as the requirement of degree, which
improve their writing skills.

I did my on job training in NRTC Haripur.

Federal Minister for Defence Production inaugurated the Testing Labs for Standardization of
Commercial & Military Equipment.

Haripur

First ever badge of indigenously manufactured ventilators made in Pakistan are handed over
to NDMA from NRTC.

SP-100 Ventilator
The NRTC Portable Ventilator is artificial respiration device which can provide continuous
or Intermittent ventilation support for patients who need invasive or noninvasive mechanical
ventilation and designed for long-term mechanical ventilation in the treatment of chronic
respiratory failure, especially used in chest wall and neuromuscular diseases.

 NRTC Disinfection Robot

Disinfection Equipment
Disinfection robot is handled using a remote control with moveable turret. The tank is filled
with the disinfectant liquid that transformed into steam to spray infected areas.

Temperature Device
Ergonomic designed temperature gun with high precision, clean and sanitary measurement.
Excellent adaptability to environmental change and can be used in complex environments
aswell.

One-click temperature switching, convenient and practical. Adjustment of temperature

deviation to facilitate daily adjustment of users.

Looking into the growing needs of alternate energy solutions, NRTC has embarked upon provisioning
of solar power based solutions to various potential customers in and outside Pakistan. NRTC has the
capability to provide solar power solutions of different scale including Agriculture, Industrial,

Smart Policing
GEO Fencing System is a software designed for analysis GSM tower data (all calls, events).
This helps LAW enforcement agencies to work fast and get results in short time.

AI video analytics system dramatically improves active monitoring of security surveillance

networks.

HF SDR
HF Software defined radio is a new generation high performance digital radio covering 1.6-
30 MHz HF Band.

Software configurable architecture provides reliable secure voice and data communications
by supporting various HF radio waveforms and EPM techniques.

 Working on major security & energy projects
1# Safe City project
The project was a joint venture of the Government of Sindh and the
National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC).

Work as a technician in safe city project

At least 10,000 high-definition security cameras was installed at strategic

locations in Karachi as part of the Safe City Project.

 Election commission of pak project

I was also part of technical team who install 20,000 day-and-night vision
cameras at 5,776 polling stations to monitor the entire polling process —
from start of the polling to its completion and counting of votes, officials
said.

the work on it would begin on July 2018 and after the installation of all
cameras, their accessories and other equipment, including a backup system
and training of relevant staff, would be handed over to the Election
Commission of Pakistan on.

 Security surveillance project

In Punjab proissions different equipments such as CCTV cameras,

walkthrough gates, metal detectors, body scanning (X-ray) machines and
gadgets required for video conferences installed. this project has
successfully been completed in 27 jails and it will soon be replicated in the
remaining 14 jails with the assistance of NRTC,”

NRTC - Agritech Drone and UGV
NRTC has indigenously made drones that would be used to spray insecticides and pesticides
on fields in the country.

NRTC announced that Pakistan has manufactured drone as locust swarms invaded
agricultural fields across the nation, posing threats of reduced crop yield

 CONCLUSION

Now from this report one can conclude that electricity plays an important role in our life. That’s
why various protective measures are taken to protect the substations from various faults and its
smooth functioning. At the end of the training, I came to know about the various parts of
substations and how they are operated
