This form can be used for applications for English-taught Bachelor’s programmes of the Faculty of Science and
School of Business and Economics (SBE) without an additional selection procedure. Are you interested in
applying for Biomedical Sciences or Computer Science? Then use the Bachelor Application File for Numerus

How to complete this application form and continue with your application:

1. Consult the step-by-step application overview for details about how to apply and how to initiate your
application in Studielink. Select: Applying for an English-taught programme with a non-Dutch diploma >
Application Procedure for programmes with VU Study Choice Check
2. Start your admission request in Studielink for the Bachelor’s programme of your interest and submit.
3. Fill out this form.
4. Save the completed form in PDF format.
5. After receipt of your VUnet-ID and password, upload the completed form in the application section of
your VU Dashboard under ‘Application File’.
6. Submit the application in your VU Dashboard and pay the application fee. This is a non-refundable
application fee of €100. Find out more about the payment of the application fee and reasons for
exemption.

Deadline for submitting your application:

 Non-EU/EEA students: 1 April


 EU/EEA students and students who do not need a study visa/residence permit through VU
Amsterdam*: 1 May

7. After submission the International Office will be checking your documents. Once your file is checked
and found to be complete, the International Office will confirm receipt.

Once you have received confirmation that the application is complete, the International Office starts with the
evaluation of your academic background based on the submitted documents only. We aim to send you the
admission decision within 6-8 weeks after this date.
