Target Grammar: Giving and asking for directions
Focus Vocabulary: Buildings Date(s): October 23nd
Goals: At the end of the following lesson students will learn how to give and how to ask for directions
in English. Also, they will be familiar with important vocabulary on buildings and places in town.
Objective: Students will be able to write a question in the format: “Where is .? How to get to ..? and Level: beginner
use prepositions.
Presentation
Time
The teacher will introduce the new topic “places”
The teacher shows some vocabulary places through some flashcards and 15
model the correct pronunciation. min worksheets
Students repeat and try to figure out the meaning of each picture showed.
A text is presented to students, it must be read aloud and repeat it as many
times as they could pronounce correctly.
If students have a question about a unknown word, teacher will explain the
meaning using the only target language.
Controlled practice Time
Students will complete a fill in the blank exercises with the places they have 10 Worksheets
