WELCOME!
Everyone must have a general facility membership which is available for a one-time, lifetime fee of only $10 per person. Or a family household for a one time fee of $25. A $5 day pass is available for visitors. General membership entitles the person use of the game room and gymnasium during center hours. There is an additional fee for most Programs and the weight room. Members are issued cards which they need to bring with them every time they come into the facility. Membership is also good for the recreation centers at Veterans Park in Lehigh Acres (239)369-1521, and Wa-Ke Hatchee in Fort Myers (239)432-2154.

All participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult member unless registered in a program while in the center.

Membership fees per person: $15 - 1 Month $75 - 6 Months $100 - 1 Year A 20-30 minute orientation must be completed prior to admission to the Weight Room. Weight Room membership is honored in all Lee County Parks and Recreation weight room facilities however orientation at these facilities may be required. Members ages 14 &15 may use the weight room if accompanied by a parent or guardian who must also have a weight room membership.

WHO: WINNING WAYS BASKETBALL CAMP WHAT: The popular Nothing But Nets Camps are back again this summer. These camps are based on basketball fun and fundamentals. This camp will feature a coaches corner, discussions on the Game of Life, focus on fundamental development of all parts of the game, fundamental drills along with shooting drills, contests games and videos. Winning Ways, Inc. was founded in 1992 in Orlando, Florida by Barry Mestel. Coaching people to optimize their talent as individuals and as a team is paramount to the goals and vision of Winning Ways. Winning Ways focuses on the fundamentals of basketball while stressing the fundamentals of life. Horseshoe Pits & Bocce Ball Courts Estero Community Park offers public horseshoe pits and bocce ball courts. Equipment is available inside the recreation center at the front desk or you may bring your own. Court use is on a first come, first serve basis.
GAME ROOM ACTIVITIES As part of your membership, you have unlimited access to the activities in the game room. Ping Pong, Pool, Foosball, Free Arcade Games, and a Shuffleboard Table, are all available during the recreation centers open hours. Children ages thirteen and under require parental supervision.

NEW BEGINNING TAP CLASS

Tae Kwon Do: Adults - special emphasis will be placed on exercise, stretching, and self defense. Children will have fun while they learn self control through the martial arts discipline. Tae Kwon Do Sport: this is an intermediate/advanced class. You will learn the art of Olympic style sparring. This will include heavy cardio workouts and an opportunity to compete in tournaments. Learn to experience meditation in motion. Gentle, slow rhythmic movements that will aid balance and help maintain flexibility. The school day is done; time to join Club Rec! This program provides children an outlet to burn off the stress of the school day through organized games, activities, clubs, sports, crafts, and home work time. Participants will learn the benefits of recreation, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and caring for understanding the environment/nature. Club Rec expects children to participate in planned activities as well as maintain a steady attendance. Children regularly missing more than three unapproved program days per week will be dropped from Club Rec in order to open a spot for another child. Parents are advised that the structure of Club Rec allows participants to sign themselves in and out of the program. Club Rec is offered only on days when school is in session that are not a County Holiday until 6 p.m. All participants must have a general facility membership and be registered in Club Rec. PROGRAM CODE: 177401 Registration costs only $100 per semester, but space is limited. Club Rec is for 2nd graders through 5th grade. Senior Friendship Center, Inc. SCF (1973) is a not for profit organization dedicated to helping older adults live with dignity and independence. Funded in part by Federal, State, County, local agencies, and other private foundations and/or individuals. Senior Friendship Center serves more than 10,000 older adults annually. Daily hot lunches are provided at eleven Lee County Friendship Cafs from 11:30 a.m. - noon at no cost to people 60 and over. Caf's also offer free daily exercise programs, arts and crafts, discussion groups, and activities from experts on topics such as accident prevention and healthy aging. A $3 donation is suggested to help cover the cost of meals, however no one is denied a meal if unable to donate.
