Mowing Incorporated is pleased to introduce this proposal for you to review. Here at Mowing
Incorporated we are excited and looking forward to partnering with you to provide a manual to trouble
shoot problems that may arise with your mower. Every now and then some mowers won't start right
away, and I must go through many different steps that I am not even sure will work in order to get the
mower up and running. A Training Manuel with possible solutions to these unexpected problems would
be beneficial to people that have just started mowing or someone who has been mowing for years. The
objective of this training manual is to help the reader who is having trouble with their lawnmower.

For the past four years I have owned a company called Mowing Incorporated. I have several of your
mowers and I like them very much. These mowers are used every weekend for several hours a day. The
mowers are very reliable, your brand of lawnmower is the only brand I have. I think your brand is the best
on the market. Sometimes they will not start right away, so I was thinking I could make a training manual
for the lawn mower just in case someone else was having these same problems with their lawn mower and
does not know where to begin to try and fix it.

I have made a Training Manuel for my employees when it comes to different scenarios for why the
lawnmower will not start up. We have run into a few situations where some of our mowers are having the
problem where it will not start up after a few tries. Since I have made this Manuel for my employees, they
have had a much easier time assessing what is wrong with the mower and ruling out possible problems
that the mower might have. In the past before I made this training manual for my employees it was not as
common for the mower to start up again after it was looked at. My employees would still look at the
mower and try to figure out what was wrong but with the training Manuel, it gives them different things
to look at that they might not look at without the training manual.

Title and Purpose
The main Purpose of my topic is how to operate a push lawnmower. The information in this
manual could answer many questions people have if their mower is not starting. People that you
would see looking at these instructions would be people that have a business in mowing lawns
and their mowers take a beating and might not start up. Another group that you would see using
these directions would be a person that just casually mows their lawn every week. My
instructions will be steps to follow if you need help operating your lawnmower. If you follow
these different instructions, you should be able to operate your lawnmower without any
problems. A training manual for this task will be very useful for someone that is stuck and does
not know exactly where to look.

Need for Training Manual

The need for this training manual is to help people that don’t exactly know how to work a push
lawnmower or are having trouble starting it up. The information in this training manual could
answer many questions people have about their mower. Some questions that Individuals could
have are “Did I Rember to put gas in the mower.” “Are there any parts missing or broken.” “I
wonder if there is grass that has clogged the blade.” “How do I even start the mower.” This
training manual could be a very major resource for anyone no matter what the experience. If
someone with a lot of experience is having trouble with their lawn mower, they could read this
training manual and it might give a different point of view and point out something that they
would not think to previously look at. For someone that does not have much experience this
training Manual will help, aid and guide them on how to work and fix their lawnmower.

Description of Training Manual

This training Manual will walk the reader through steps on how to operate a Husqvarna push
lawnmower. There will be detailed steps regarding starting the lawnmower and fixing possible
problems that may come up with the lawnmower. These instructions will be written in a way that
someone who has been mowing for years and someone who is just starting will all understand.
Everything in this training manual will be clear and make plenty sense to the reader where they
will be able to complete the task with ease.
Benefit of this Training Manual

The benefits of this training manual are that it will help a numerous number of people figure out
how to work their push lawnmower and how to troubleshoot potential problems that may come
up. Some problems that happen with this push lawnmower can be very frustrating to deal with.
Whenever these problems happen you could be very lost and have no clue where to start or what
to look at so this training manual will give people a different point of view and could help them
solve their problem.

Handbook Outline
The instructions in the handbook will focus mainly on how to assess problems when it comes to
your Husqvarna push lawnmower. These instructions will be very detailed so if it is someone's
first time using a lawnmower, they can follow these instructions with ease. The following outline
will describe how the handbook will be produced and laid out. This outline will cover major and
minor steps that some people could look over.

I. Introduction: The Purpose of these instructions in this handbook will give detailed
instructions that anyone will be able to accomplish no matter the level of experience .
Since you will be working with a lawn mower you must be careful, the lawn mower can
cause serious injury if not careful.

II. Ch. 1 What Lawn mower will this Handbook be covering? This handbook will cover the
Husqvarna LC221RH, 21 in. 160cc Honda Walk Behind Self-Propelled Mower

A. Lawnmower that will be used: This will contain important Information about the
lawnmower that will be used.
1. Must have some prior knowledge about a lawnmower.
B. Important parts: Will contain information about important parts that this mower
has and could be damaged.
2. Must know basic parts of a lawnmower.
III. Ch.2 How do you work the Lawnmower:
C. Getting ready to start Lawnmower: Procedure to getting the lawnmower ready
to run and safety warnings will be included.
D. Starting the Lawnmower: Will list steps in order to successfully start the
lawnmower.
IV. Ch.3 Assessing possible options if your lawnmower does not work.
A. Checking possible imperfections or damage: Will include the process of
looking over the mower.
1. walk around the mower and see if Something looks out of place that could be
replaced
B. Observe and take note of what is wrong with mower: Will include observation and
assess damage that might possibly be wrong with the mower.
V. Ch. 4 How to troubleshoot when your mower doesn't work.
A. Check possible internal problems: Will include looking at internal options that does
not require disassembly.
1. Check the oil in the lawnmower and make sure it is not low.
2. Check to make sure there is gasoline in the mower.
B. Add anything that might be missing: Will include how to add any liquids or filters
that would be needed.
VI. Ch. 5 How properly clean mower and put away.
A. Check under the deck of the mower: Will include how to clean under the mower
to avoid any future problems with your mower and will include safety
Information.
1. Make sure no grass is caught in between the mower blade and the deck of inside
wall of the mower.
B. Properly store your lawnmower so it will be ready for the next use and work
effectively.

Graphics

This training manual will include any pictures that go along with very important steps in this
manual. No graphs or charts will be needed to go along with this training manual. The pictures
will be labeled and easy to match with the step.

The cost of this manual will be broken down. The production of this manual will cost a total of
25,000 dollars. Labor supplies and fees will be included in this breakdown.

Labor will be: ($30 an hour x 300 hours) Amount: $9,000

Supplies cost: (Supplies such as paper, ink Amount: $8,000

 and printers.)
Additional fees: (Printing fees and taxes ) Amount: $8,000

Total Amount: Amount: $25,000

Conclusion

Many people mow their own lawns, or a Company comes and mows their lawn for them. These
lawn mowers can be used hundreds of times a season by experienced mowers, or the
lawnmowers can be used by a person who just bought this mower that wants to start mowing for
the first time. This training manual will help experienced people if they are having trouble and
can't quite figure out the problem. It will also help the first-time person that is mowing. This
training manual could be very beneficial to many people around the world. Thank you so much
