“Construction of Non-Multiple Choice Item Test”
I. True or False
Directions. Read the problem carefully. Make the following poor example of a True or False test
item be a good example.
1. When you see a highway with a marker that reads: “Interstate 80”, you know that the
construction and upkeep of that road is built and maintained by the local and national
government.
GOOD EXAMPLE: Both local and national governments are responsible for the
building and upkeep of the interstates.

GOOD EXAMPLE: There's a good probability that your canoe would bounce
