What is/are my goal/s for this topic?
One of my goals for this topic was to learn
more about the intriguing and magnificent
country of Laos, as well as cultural beliefs,
ideals, national symbols, and popular
cultural heritage that I believe still exist
today. My goal is to assist other students
while also sharing my expertise and
comprehension of the material provided in
order to inspire others to tour our lovely
nation. Because Laos was a historically
independent Asian country, its traditions
have had a significant impact. The most
important thing to remember is that religion
has always had a strong influence on
culture in Laos.

What are at least three things I learned in Laos taught me three important lessons.
this lesson? Expound. Their cultural ideals and beliefs come first,
followed by their incredible cultural past
and national emblems, and finally by their
customs. Furthermore, I’ve learned that
Lao culture is focused on the simple joys of
life, such as eating, drinking, sleeping, and
speaking with friends. I like how work rarely
takes precedence over socialization.
Meals, weekend activities, weddings, and
whatever you’re doing right now are
frequently asked if they’re “muan,” or joyful.
Laos is known for its harsh mountainous
landscape and abundant natural resources.
Laos is known as the “Land of a Million
Elephants” because of its breathtaking
beauty, ethnic settlements, and unknown
territories. It is primarily renowned for
having some of the most magnificent
waterfalls in Southeast Asia.
What are the challenges that I experienced One of the obstacles I had while studying
upon encountering this topic? in Laos was determining whether the
information I was provided was reliable and

accurate. The variety and excellence of
some places, viewpoints, traditions, and
national history that are so fantastic to be
aware of, as well as the possibility that
some people are unaware of how wealthy
we are as a result of the things we have
been able to preserve, make it difficult for
me.
What is the best thing that happened in this The most valuable feature of the Topic
session? Your realizations? Laos was learning about other countries’
key cultural values and concepts, buildings
and artifacts, settings and human habitats,
oral and folkloric history, written legacy,
and popular cultural heritage. Learning
about Lao history and comprehending its
value, particularly in these volatile times, is
a privilege for me as a future educator in
the Philippines. It was one of the most
incredible pre- and post-discussion
sessions as we learned about the
similarities and differences between our
own country of the Philippines and Laos.
