CLASS NOTES
(The most important topics)

The didáctics of english literature from the perspective of student-centered

strategies

So, in this paper we learn about the role of teachers in the student-centered approach,
It gives away some clues on how to teach and what aspects should be the most
important to us as teachers. To encourage students to improve their skills by providing
a learning environment. There should be active involvement from the teacher, but
students should also learn by themselves. Some keys in student-centered classrooms
are collaborative learning (to learn alongside your partners), experiential learning (to
learn from experiences and the things happening in your surroundings) and mediated
learning (to be helped or guided by a teacher in your learning process). These three
types of learning go alongside each other and will develop our students’ capacities and
abilities.

There are some key skills for a teacher to have for this kind of classroom but I think that
the most important one is adaptability.
