OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE, LOCATED AT BAYOMBONG, NUEVA
VIZCAYA, THIS 30TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2022 AT ABOUT 10 IN THE MORNING IN
THE PRESENCE OF ATTY. GAIL MERCADO HER CHOSEN COUNSEL OR COEL
GIVEN BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, TO ASSIST
HER IN THE GIVING OF STATEMENTS.

Preliminaries:

MS. JULIA LOUISE BUNGUBUNG hereby volunteer yourself to give sworn statement about
your personal knowledge about shooting incident that happened on October 23, 2022 at 10 AM.
Before you will give your sworn statements, I would like to inform you of your rights enshrined
under the 1987 Philippine Constitution, as follows:

1. That you have the right to remain silent and any information that you will give can be
used as evidence against you in any court of the Philippines;
2. That you have a right to have a counsel preferable of your own choice, if you cannot
afford the services of the counsel, the Government of the Philippines will give you one to
assist you;
3. That you have the right to know why you are here in our Office; and
4. That you have the right to be informed of all your Constitutional rights enumerated
above.

statements?

4. Q. Ms. Julia Louise Bungubung, Please kindly state your name, age, and other personal
circumstances.
A. I am Julia Louise Bungubung, 25 years old, legal assistant, single and a resident of
Don Mariano Marcos, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya
5. Q. On the night of October 23, 2022, where were you?
A. I’m having my day off at our house and stayed there the whole day.
6. Q. I understand that you stayed home the whole day. Are you aware of any untoward
incident that transpired at No. 245 Don Mariano Marcos, Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya?
A. Yes sir. It was a shooting incident wherein Mr. Rico Yan shot Wawie De Guzman.
7. Q. Could you narrate briefly the incident?
A. It was like this sir. Both of them are arguing regarding the noise from the muffler of
Mr. Wawie De Guzman, the former already asked him to remove the muffler from his
motorcycle because it’s too loud and his baby is sleeping but the latter didn’t listen and
still used the muffler which angered Mr. Yan and so the incident happened.

8. Q. Do you still have some more to add or delete from your statement?
A. The two of them still has an unsolved issue in the past hence the bad blood between
them.
