METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the research design, the study's respondents, the stages of research

instruments, the data analysis procedures, the population and sampling tool, and the statistical

treatment for data analysis.

Research Design

This study utilizes the use of the Experimental Method in order to determine using

quantitative approaches, the extended research was conducted to determine the participant’s

Social media Usage on the academic performance of Senior High school students. The

experimental quantitative methodology looked into participant backgrounds and responses on

students' use of social media in the questionnaire and assessment instruments that assessed the

effect of social media use on senior high school academic performance.
