What are the common characteristics of the three (3) Filipino entrepreneurs described
above? How did these characteristics influence their businesses?
 The three (3) Filipino entrepreneurs went through a hard test in their lives after reading
the case study. They had to overcome numerous obstacles to get to where and who
they are now. In addition, I observed that they possessed the ability to persevere in the
face of adversity. No matter what happened, they all had the ability and confidence to
achieve (Confidence in their ability to succeed). They feel more confident in their
decision to pursue a path in which they will be successful. They all have a high level of
optimism, which explains why, despite numerous failures, they are on their road to
success.
2. How did entrepreneurship aggravate yet eventually improved the lives of the featured
personalities in the case?
 Entrepreneurship deteriorates quickly, and they suffer a plenty of setbacks as a result
of the martial law era, ranging from rejections of their ideas to war and natural disaster.
According to entrepreneurs, the more the risk, and the greater the reward. Eventually,
these featured people in the case are able to accomplish achievement that has greatly
changed their lives. They possess the traits and abilities of an entrepreneur.
3. How do you think these businessmen manage the pitfalls of entrepreneurship? Propose
better ways of managing and avoiding business failure.
 Being an entrepreneur or a businessman is a difficult task. They were exposed to risks
that could not be avoided, yet they were able to conquer them. It takes a lot of courage
and determination to persevere in the face of adversity. There are numerous
approaches to controlling and avoiding business failure, but I will suggest three (3) that
are more effective. To begin, entrepreneurs must “Develop a solid business plan”
which will help them develop a strategy for success. Second, “Learn to manage people
effectively” we all know that putting up a strong team can help any organization
succeed; two heads are better than one. Finally, the most important trait to have as a
businessman is to “Maintain a positive attitude” because it will lead to a better end.
You’ll get closer to your goal if you turn the negative into positive.

4. Currently, what do you think is the primary force that drives entrepreneurship in the
Philippines? How can the Filipinos capitalize on this force to boost the economy in times of
recession?
 On my opinion the key forces driving entrepreneurship in the Philippines are Social Media
marketing and technological advancements because the Philippines is still belonged to
third-world country where the entrepreneurs may wish to provide more services most
likely on what in a developed country. Right now all across the Philippines is dealing with
a Covid-19 pandemic that is really affecting the economy; however the e-commerce has
exploded worldwide and making a significant contribution to the country not only in the
Philippines where every seller are able to reach every consumers across the country
through the advance technology that we have right now that actually saves many
businesses and new opportunity to other aspiring entrepreneur.
