DLS-3 Version 2.

00 Release Notes
DLS-3 has not configured your modem for Communications.    Before communicating
with any panel, please verify that the settings within the Modem Configuration are correct.

Auto Detection of Modules

If you have a Skyroute v2.0 and/or PC5400 DVACS v3.0TAFNZ on your system, these
modules use a similar signature and cannot be detected correctly.    After the auto-detect phase
is complete, simply remove the module that is not enrolled.

Wait for Panel to Call

Wait for Batch Mode
If using any of the following panels, you must add "AT$W" to the incoming modem's
Initialization string when using Wait for Panel or Batch Mode.
PC5015 v1.0C
PC5015 v1.0-v2.4U

Batch Mode and Network Support

When DLS-3 is waiting for panels to call in Batch Mode, please ensure that the
corresponding workfile is not being used by anyone on the network, or a file sharing
violation may occur.

Importing
Please note, when importing a large number of files, the import utility may appear to be
not responding.    Once the import has completed, the import utility will respond as normal.
Also, under some circumstances, the DLS-3 may import extra modules that are not present in
the original file.

Importing from DLS-1 Versions

If you are using a version of DLS-1 prior to v6.72, please upgrade to the latest
copy of DLS-1 before importing your workfiles into DLS-3.    If you have upgraded and
are still encountering problems importing either a PC5010 v1.x or PC1575 v1.x from
DLS-1, you must open and resave the DLS-1 workfile(s) before importing into DLS-3.

Importing from DLS-1 or DLS-2 Versions

Before running the DLS-3 Import Utility, ensure that DLS-1 and/or DLS-2 is not
running.    When importing files from DLS-1 or DLS-2, System Status information is not
imported, and thus, may appear incorrect.    Once the information is uploaded in DLS-3,
the uploaded information will reflect the status of the panel.

Upgrading DLS-3 from a previous version

If you have upgraded from a previous version of DLS-3, the Add/Remove programs list
may show the version number of the previous version of DLS-3.

Installing DLS-3 from a Network

If you experience problems when installing DLS-3 from files that are located on another
computer, ensure that the shared network folder is mapped to a drive letter on your machine,
with the "Reconnect at Login" option selected.
Uninstalling DLS-3
When removing DLS-3, please use the Add/Remove Programs uninstall routine found in
the Windows Control Panel.    If you have created any new languages and uninstall DLS-3, there
are instances where languages you may have created will be removed.    If you wish to keep any
workfiles or languages that you have created, we recommend that you backup these important
files regularly.
