How to Install a Ricoh Print Driver on a Windows PC (Networked printers)

1. Find out which model of Ricoh MFD you have:

a. Check on the front of your Ricoh to determine the model. The model number will be either
to the left of the operator console, or on the front door of the machine.

The model in this case is an MP C3503

a. Follow step 1 in this how-to guide:
http://www.ricohsouth.co.nz/uploads/rte/Howto_access_address_book_via_WIM.pdf

Wait while the printer is installed.

j. If you get a dialogue box about Printer Sharing, make sure ‘Do not share this printer’ is
selected, and click ‘Next’

k. If the printer you are installing is the one you will use the most, check ‘Set as the default
printer’. Click ‘Print a test page’ to print a test page in colour. We will set the defaults to
B&W in the next steps. Click ‘Finish’ to complete the installation.

Note: If you need to enter a user code to print, your test page may not work until the user code has been
programmed in. See below steps.
8. Set print Queue Defaults:
We recommend setting the default colour mode to B&W unless you do most things
in colour. You should also check if the default behaviour is to single or double side
the pages. If you have a user code to print in either colour or B&W you will need to
enter it before you can print anything. Refer to the link below:
