- The teacher will discuss and explain what are the “five senses” and its
importance to everyone.

D. ABSTRACTION
-The teacher will show a picture of an object and the learners will describe the
object using the five senses.
E. APPLICATION
Instruction: Match the picture on the column A to their functions in column B.

F. GENERALIZATION:
-The teaher will call a name of a students and ask questions about to their topic.
Example: What are the sense organs?

IV. ASSIGNMENT

Instruction: Write YES on the blank if the sentence is about a good way of taking care of the
sense of organ and NO if otherwise.

1. I do not paint sharp object near my eyes.


2. I read a book in the school service while going to school.
3. I scratch my eyes when they are itchy.
4. I avoid listening rock music.
5. I use hair clips in cleaning my ears.
6. I cover my nose from dust or strong smells.
7. I read while lying down.
8. I clean my body including all my sense organs with water and soap.
9. I avoid eating food that it is too hot.
10. I eat fruits and vegetables.
