Kinds of Pollination
1. Self-pollination - occurs when the pollen is transferred from the stamen of one flower to the pistil of the same flower.
2. Cross-pollination - the pollen grain is transferred from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower of the
same kind.
How pollen is transferred:
 Seed Dispersal - process by which seeds are scattered, moved, or transportedd away from the parent plant to
much wider area.
Ways of seed dispersal:
a) Seeds in pods
b) Seeds dispersed by animals eating them
c) Seeds withh hook-like structure carried by animals
d) Feather-like seeds dispersed by wind
e) Seeds can be carried by water

Asexual Reproduction
Natural Vegetative Propagation - this is a process by which structural modification are done with the stem, root, or leaf
of an herbaceous or woody plant in producing new plants.

Methods:
1. Vegetative propagations by roots
2. Vegetative propagation by stem

Point of reference or frame of reference - a place or object used for comparison to determine if something is in motion.
Distance - the length of path between two points.
SI - a system based on the number 10.
Meter - SI unit for measuring distance

Distance that are smaller than a meter are measured in centimeters.
