for the Grade 9 Learners

I. Introduction

Good governance and history of the political development are one of the topics that
students will learn if they are going to choose Humanities and Social Science strand. A lot of
people is either unware of the good governance or they are just blind from the reality. This event
will let the grade 9 learners experience to do some activity related to good governance and the
history of the political development and also they will understand, gain knowledge, and be aware
what kind of government we need in our very own country.

II. Purpose

This project aims to expand the learning and knowledge of the grade 9 students to be
aware of the good governance and the history of the political developments for them to know what
are the factor they must know in order to choose a great leader in the future. This project also
aims to improve the speaking and communicating skills of the grade 12 students of Saint Teresa
of Avila, as they impart to the learners the knowledge that they know about this topic. This event
would help both learners to improve, grade 9 learners would be able to see and to know the things
they are unaware and the grade 12 learners would be able to improve their communication skills.
Where this event would be able to increase the rate of students who will be joining the HUMSS
strand in Senior High School in Mater Carmeli School-Novaliches.

III. Project Description

This project would be assigned for the grade 12 learners of Saint Teresa of Avila who will
teach the students about the characteristics of good governance and the history of the political
development. Where the chosen learners to participate in the activity are the grade 9 learners.
This event would tackle the history of the political development, good governance and its
characteristics, the influences, and also an activity for entertainment such as: discussing a
particular history, role playing, and jingle and rap, this event would happen after class for 2 days
in the next semester. This project is for the grade 9 and 12 learners to expand their knowledge
and to learn a new information that would be used to create a good governance in our country for
the future and in addition, this project would also benefit the strand HUMSS as this strand gives
more information about the topic.

IV. Objectives

The main objectives for this event are as follows:

 To create a bond with the grade 9 learners and grade 19 learners.


 To give the grade 9 learners a new knowledge that would benefit them for the suture
 To the strand HUMSS to gain more students to study the courses in this strand
 To improve the skills of Saint Teresa of Avila in communication for the preparation of
college.
 To build confidence in each and every student’s in creating a decision and in interacting.
 To be aware of what is the good governance that Filipinos should consider.

VI. Methodology

For this project to be effective, these are the list on how this event would an informative
and entertaining:

 Saint Teresa of Avila learners should study and research more information for the event.
 A help of a teacher to make this event be more inspirational and informative.
 The participation of the 12-Saint Teresa of Avila must be active and also the grade 9
learners are expected to join this event.
 The participation of the Student Empowerment associates of the senior high school is
appreciated as they help in organizing the event.
 An informative and creative plan for the 2-days event.
 Creation of the venue (stage design)
VI. Project Needs

1. A teacher or adviser to help the project to be approved.


2. An open spaced area for the event to use.
3. List of theories (if possible) and influences for the history of the political development
4. A teacher to help the students to facilitate the event.
5. List of students in Saint Teresa of Avila who would be the host, the entertainer, and the
one who would assist the learners
6. Some entertainer for the audience to be entertained (must be a singer/s or a group of
dancers)
