 Program Overview
 Instructions
 Project Task Overview
 Download and Review the Instructions
 Review or complete recommended courses as needed to obtain
or update skills (see the courses in the Accreditation Learning Path)

 Basic Road Design Modeling Accreditation
- Skills Assessment

 Complete the Legal Agreement

 Access the legal agreement here: http://s.alchemer.com/s3/8e83aeea15ca
 Once complete, you will be automatically redirected to the Skills Assessment
 Take a Skills Assessment to test your knowledge
 Must score 80% or better (you can take it multiple times)
 After you have successfully passed the Skills Assessment you will be given access to the
Accreditation Project files
 You will be added to the accreditation project within 48-72 working hours once you
complete the skills assessment and legal agreement

 CONNECTION Client
 Registered as a Bentley CONNECTED User
 Go to Bentley.com and select sign-in

After receiving notification, go to connect.bentley.com to access and download

the accreditation project. (Suggest using Edge, Chrome, or Firefox browsers.)
 Under the CONNECT Center, look in the ProjectWise Projects list and select
the Bentley Civil Accreditation project

 Scroll down to the ProjectWise 365 Services and select Share

 On the Home page, select the

folder

 Select the project task zip file and select Download

- Begin the Project

 Unzip the files to a folder on your machine

 In the main folder, open the Bentley Civil User Accreditation – Basic Road
Design Modeling.pdf file

- Reminders and Recommendations

 Your project is due in 4 weeks

 Read through all the tasks before starting
 Take your time … it’s not a race 
 Read each task thoroughly before you start it
 Review your work before submitting
 Look at the 3D model … does it look right?
 Read through the steps again … did you complete
everything?

NOTE: Most rejections are due to not reading the instructions

thoroughly and not reviewing the project before submitting.

- Grading
 You must complete both the assessment and
the project tasks to obtain the accreditation
 You must achieve a score of 80% or better to
complete the assessment portion
 Each project task must be completed as
defined in the instructions to pass the
project portion
 Missing or incomplete tasks will result in the
project being rejected
 If you follow all the instructions, you will
become accredited

- After You Finish

 Rename the Basic Road Design Modeling folder to

LastName.FirstName_Basic Road Design Modeling
 Create a zip file
 Include the entire project folder with all folders
and files
 Name the zip file using the format
LastName.FirstName_Basic Road Design
Modeling.zip
 Do not password protect the zip file

 Go to connect.bentley.com to upload
your project for review
 See the download instructions as
needed
 From the Basic Road Design Modeling
folder, select the Submittals Inbox
folder
 Select New > Upload and identify your
.zip file to upload, or use drag-and-
drop
 Do not lock the file

- Notifications
Once your project file is uploaded
 Send an email to Accreditation@Bentley.com notifying that
your project file has been uploaded
 A Bentley Colleague will be assigned to review your project
 You will receive email notification on whether you passed
 If you do not pass, you can correct mistakes and submit again
 If you do not pass with your 2nd submittal, there will be
a 3-month deferral before you can submit again
