Summary of KYN28-24 switchgear

KYN28-24 indoor metal-clad enclosed switchgear is applied to 3-phase AC

50/60Hz, 24kV single bus bar and single bus bar section electric power system, with

the function of “five preventions”. It has perfect and reliable prevention function

against misoperation. The removing compartment of the switchgear may be

assembled with vacuum circuit breaker, vacuum contactor, load breaker switch and

VT handcart etc. The switchgear complies with the standards of IEC62271, GB3906.

This product should not be used under conditions of fire, explosion, earthquake and chemical
corrosion environments.
Special service conditions
Each special service condition should be proposed in advance and confirmed by the manufacturer

and user.

The dielectric strength of the air will be reduced in when altitude is over 1000m at site.

If the ambient temperature is over the maximum degree, the capacity of the using current must be

lower than the designed current’s for both main bus bar and branching bus bar. The installation of

aerator is propitious to reduce heat.

Structural feature of KYN28-24 switchgear

The enclosure is made of aluminum-zinc plated steel by CNC machine with high precise dimension, short

production cycle, excellent mechanical strength and nice appearance.

The switchgear is composed by the enclosure and drawable CB. The panel and main components are

shown in figures. The incoming panel and outgoing panel are the basic schemes of switchgear panel. There

are other derivative schemes, such as: contact panel or metering panel. In addition, there are so many

schemes of the switchgear panel with load switch, VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) truck, VC (Vacuum

Contactor) truck, disconnect truck. The bus-bar compartment, CB truck compartment, cable compartment and

relay compartment are separated by metal sheet. The switchgear has flexible operation for CB truck’s

movement and clear position instruction. The earth switch allows making short circuit current and gains

creditable mechanical interlock. The protection degree of enclosure is IP4X; the protection degree is IP2X

when the door of VCB room is open and the truck is drawn out.

The panel has two modes of configuration: single-face configuration and face-to-face configuration.

VS1 (VCBI) series high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is a kind

of indoor high-voltage switch equipment with 50/60Hz three-phase

alternating current and 24kV rated voltage, which combined the

technique of the ABB Corporation in Switzerland and domestic

development state and manufacturing capability. The general

. VTC-24 Indoor Voltage Transformer Truck

Description of VTC-24
The product adopts the voltage transformers- type JDZX8-15, 20 as its main

body. The transformers are single phase, casting resin insulated and full

enclosed. The assembly dimensions of the body are the same as ZN63A (VSI)

circuit breaker’s for convenient design, manufacturing, installation and

maintenance. The insulation support of the contact arm uses composite

materials to enhance the overall dielectric strength and ability to withstand

voltage. Auxiliary switches (Position switch) can be equipped in the PT cart;

according to the different requirements of users, each auxiliary switch can be installed five pairs of contacts at

most. The secondary output part of PT cart adopts 58-pin aviation plugs. Three arresters can be installed in the

PT cart. The harmonic elimination resistor can be installed in the neutral point of PT cart.

Description of VT
The product is single phase, casting resin and fully enclosed. It is used for electricity metering, voltage

control and relay protect in the electric system with rated frequency 50/60HZ and rated voltage 3, 6, 12kV. It

conforms to IEC186 and GB1207.

Structural feature of VT
The series voltage transformers are fully enclosed and they are insulated by casting resin. The iron core

and winding are casting together. It is small and light. The secondary outlet line is wrapped by outlet box and

The current transformer is fully enclosed and insulated by casting resin. It is designed for current, power
measurement and relay protection in AC power supply system with rated frequency 50/60HZ, rated voltage
24kV and below.

 Structural feature of CT
The current transformer is a leg type, totally-enclosed structure. Its ring core, primary winding and

secondary winding are casted resin for insulation. The reinforced insulation makes it workable under the

conditions of humidity condensation and pollution II.

The outlet marks of the product are: primary P1, P2, secondary group on 1S1, 1S2, group two 2S1, 2S2.

As the primary current flow from P1 to P2, the secondary current flow from S1 to S2 through outside return

circuit. High voltage appears if secondary return circuit opens while primary current is flowing by.

. Indoor zinc oxide arrester

Description of arrester
The zinc oxide arrester is the most advanced over-voltage protector

presently in the world. The resistor slice mainly adopts zinc oxide and

multi-metal oxide, different with the traditional silicon carbide arrester. The

product greatly improves the Volt-Ampere characteristics and increases

the current capability of the resistor slice so as to bring ultimate changes to

the characteristics of the arresters.

Under the circumstance of normal working voltage, the current

through the arrester is just on microampere degree. When suffered from

over-voltage, the excellent nonlinear characteristics of the arrester will make the current increase to several

thousand ampere instantaneously, while the arrester is under the low resistance state and release over-voltage
energy so as to effectively restrict the damage against the transmission equipments which caused by the

over-voltage.

The Zinc Oxide arrester is applied to protect the electrical equipment in AC power system against the

damage resulted from the atmosphere over-voltage and the switching over-voltage.

Description of JN15-24

JN15-15 series indoor A.C. medium-voltage earth-switch can

be used for earthing protection during inspection and

maintenance of medium-voltage apparatus and can also be

matched with various type of high-voltage switch gears in power

system with rated voltage of 10kV or below and rated frequency of

50Hz. The performance of the earth-switch meets the
