MACHINE SPECIFICATION
The gripping arrangement is available for both 3” as well as 6” parent roll core. Linear motion
guides and web guider actuator helps the unwind station to adjust according to the web. The
station is equipped with pneumatic brake which controls the braking tension throughout the
length. Unwind auto tension is taken care of through programmable logic controllers with closed
loop control achieved through pneumatic brakes and ultrasonic diameter transducers. Ultrasonic
Transducer monitors the diameter continuously and continuous roll diameter calculation allows
automatically switches off the machine when it achieves the minimum set diameter.

Station is equipped with pneumatic brake, E/P Transducer and ultrasonic transducer which allow
equal web tension throughout the speed / throughout the length.
‘S –737’ model is equipped with reputed make web guiding section which is used to correct the
position of webs with the help of a scanning head and Actuator. Scanning head scans the position
of web and the digital controller corrects the deviation in teached limits with the help of actuator.
Actuator works to correct the position of webs by adjusting the unwind station, which results in to
a perfect winding.

Banana Roller provides the wrinkle free web to the pull section. Banana roller’s bow angle can be
adjusted by adjusting the gear box provided for the same.
Set of rollers are located between the Unwind, slitting section and rewinding with function of guide
and conveyance. All guide rollers are cork taped or coated with best available polymer.
Idler rollers are mounted on frictionless bearings.

Slitting Method
‘S – 737’ model is equipped with easy replaceable and easy adjustable cutter. Cutter section is
having two types of cutting and trimming arrangement circular and stationery according to the web
material. There are basically two types of shafts are used in this section they are top knife shaft and
bottom knife shaft. Bottom knife shaft is derived from the main drive of the machine with the help
of timing belt. Bottom knife shaft and top knife shaft are equipped with circular knives. In case of
stationery cutting the bottom shaft is equipped with plain/Grooved Distance Pieces shaft and top
shaft is replaced with blade holder shaft.

Easy re-tooling of the slitting unit for different web widths and different slitting modes.

The venture of the trim blower sucks the trimmed edge from the slitting section and discharges it
out side of the machine.
One high capacity venture trim system is provided with two nozzles and interconnecting
pipes.
Maximum trim width: 15 mm (Depending on materials and thickness)
Minimum trim width: 5 mm (Depending on materials and thickness)
Lay on Assembly is consists of one rubber roller and one cork roller and arms with pneumatic
cylinders. Contact pressure of the lay on rollers is operated by pressure regulator. Pressure can be
easily changed during the working.
Two full width rubber and cork rollers are provided on lay-on with machine.
The lay-on pressure is pneumatically applied.
Lay-on pressures are adjustable from the Pressure Regulator.
Cork idler roll is provided on the lay-on arms in `S-Wrap’ configuration for over or under
winding mode.
Take off section ensures best possible handling of finished slit rolls. Take off arm provides easy and
quick removal of the finish rolls for the differential shafts. The take off arms is of pivoting type.
Arms are not swiveling type.
Model S-737 is having operator’s friendly touch screen panel having all the function of machine like
increasing / decreasing of speed, Diameter & length readings, swivels operations, Even tension in
rewind or unwind section of machine can be control from panel and with recipe management and
alarm history
‘S – 737’ model is equipped with two main drives. Pull section drive and individual re-winder shaft
drives. The drives are for A.C. synchronous servo motor and are servo controller. They operate in
closed loop operation for the motor which compensates the varying load and tension on the web
when machine is in running condition. The Man Machine Interface with touch operations is
provided which enables the operator to change to parameters of machine as required. The
programmable logic controller controls the tension as set in the MMI throughout the running
process of machine at different diameters and length. The pull roller, bottom knife shaft and bow
roller is driven by the main drive for pull section. Both differential shafts are driven by the common

ALL models are equipped with line/edge guider, slitting/trimming section, rewind section and most
