All of hase vl affect exam grades, thus the grades cannot measure how much we have mastered or our inteligence, (On the other hang, what about the individuals who cannot afford an education ‘and do not know facts that seem basic to you? Do you also consider them as Lninteligent students? They could happen to know mare than anyone of us. For example a kid who has never been fo school but has been helping out in the vegetables farm, he will know everything related to planting vegetables, from Identiying seeds to harvesting andthe types of vegetables, Everybody has diferent strengths and weaknesses. Some are vary good in ‘Bahasa Malaysia, Science and English but they fail Mathematics tests, However when this happens, many wil perceive them as being less inteligent due to the ane subject that has fale to score you cannot score Ain your English paper. It is okay as you auld be good at Mathematles. You ean be an accountant In the future then. you cannot score A in your Science paper, i's fine. You could be good at drawing which you could be an artist nex! time. If you cannot score Ain your Mathematic paper but You can sing wel, You could be a singar as your eareer then Grades limts us. Grades are important for our future espacially when we are looking for jobs. This is because most people think that you have good grades, you ‘are smart If you have low grades, you are ess intligent. When people think this way. ‘Thay are devaluing the parson. Even so, everyone is good in their own way, just might ‘ot be academically. For example, you can excel in sports If you are gitad with in sports, such as Dato’ Leo Chong Wei, Datuk Nicol David and Pandolela Rinong. The numerical systom also cannot define how smart one person is. f you get low grads in exam, and people start ‘marking you as less inteligenee, prove them wong! Strive hatd in what you do beet! In conclusion, | agree that grades can be important but itis defintely nota way to determine the inteligence of someone.
