and beneficial to those who are interested in Korean history. This movie is more attractive
because it is based on real events. However, this movie may be surprising to those who do not
know history and like Japanese culture.

The film shows how colonists colonize other countries by spreading culture and language and
destroying national language and patriotism. The film is set in an era when Korean language was
banned in Japanese colonial era. So in response, scholars of the Korean Language Society risk
their lives to protect the Korean language by creating a dictionary.

This movie is very touching, sad, funny, and mixed with emotions.
Protecting the language is as important as protecting the country using weapons. I remember
when the Japanese colonized Indonesia at the same time. It makes me think about whether my
grandparents should experience the same sadness and pain as in the movie. Kim Pan-soo's
character is the most remarkable character for me. At first, he looks ignorant, but I like Kim Pan-
soo's personality development. Once he makes up his mind, he learns to read diligently. The
scene where he reads everything on the street reminds me of me when I just learned Hangul.

Until now, I have thought it is easy to make a dictionary. Never know that it takes so much effort
to make a dictionary. I've always been a fan of war movies and this is definitely recommended!

내가 본 가장 감동적인 애국 영화 중 하나이다. 이 영화는 특히 한국 역사에

관심이 있는 사람들에게 영감을 주고 유익하다. 이 영화가 실제 사건을
바탕은 만들어서 더 매력적이다. 하지만 이 영화는 역사를 모르고 일본
문화 좋아하는 사람들이 보기에는 놀랄 수 도 있다.

이 영화는 식민자들이 문화와 언어를 전파하고 민족 언어와 애국심을

말살함으로써 다른 나라를 식민지로 만드는 과정을 보여준다. 이 영화는
일제강점기에 한국어 사용이 금지되었던 시대를 배경으로 하고 있다.
그래서 이에 대응하여 한국어학회 학자들은 사전을 만들어 한국어를
지키기 위해 목숨을 건다.

이 영화는 매우 감동적이고, 슬프고, 웃기기도 하고, 감정들이 뒤섞여 있다.

언어를 보호하는 것은 무기를 사용하여 나라를 보호하는 것만큼
중요합니다. 일본인도 같은 시기에 인도네시아를 식민지로 삼았던 때가
생각난다. 우리 조부모님도 영화에서와 같은 슬픔과 고통을 겪어야 하는지
생각하게 한다. 김판수의 캐릭터는 나에게 가장 주목할 만한 캐릭터이다.
처음에는 무식해 보이지만, 김판수의 성격전개가 마음에 든다. 그는 한번
마음을 먹으면 부지런히 읽는 법을 배운다 그가 길거리에서 모든 것을
읽던 장면은 내가 한글을 막 배울 때 나를 떠올리게 한다.

지금까지, 나는 사전을 만드는 것이 쉽다고 생각해왔다. 사전을 만드는 데

그렇게 많은 노력이 필요하다는 것을 결코 알지 못하다. 나는 항상 전쟁
영화의 팬이었고 이것은 확실히 추천한다!
