being handled by Mr. Neil Edwin Yuzon

A. General Reminders:
1. Read, understand, and follow the Academic Integrity Policy of Mapua University. It can be found in
Module 0. It provides that academic dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly.
2. All assessments should be passed thru the submission button in Blackboard. Do not pass late activities in
the Blackboard Course Messages, MS Teams, class GC, or any other platform (not unless you were
specifically instructed to do so).

any).
4. Attend the grade consultation on the last day of the term or any day that was assigned for that purpose.

9. Students are highly expected to read, understand, and clarify if necessary, the documents (e.g. Academic
Integrity Policy, the Modular System, Grade of “0”, Syllabus for the course, Class Policies and Reminders,
etc.) contained in Module 0.
10. Other policies concerning the course that may be promulgated by the teacher from time-to-time will be
made know to the students.

12. Always attend the synchronous class on time.
13. Open the camera of the device you are using during attendance, recitation, reporting, presentation, and
the like.
14. Mute the audio of your online platform (Zoom) when not reciting, reporting, or asking a question to the
teacher or fellow classmate.
15. “One device or account, one student” shall be observed. Having several students using a single device or
account is not allowed.
16. Be in a secure and conducive place when attending synchronously. Students who are in transit while
attending synchronously will be cut from the Zoom and will just be re-admitted after they have already
settled.
17. Dress appropriately while attending synchronous classes (no wearing of sando, etc.) especially during
presentation, even if the presentation is pre-recorded.
18. Chatting with classmates or any other person during the synchronous class, especially if it is not related to
the lesson, is highly discouraged.
19. Leave the synchronous meeting only after being dismissed by the teacher. Students who have left the
synchronous meeting without the permission of the teacher or those who did not leave the meeting after
being told will be considered as absent.

C. During Asynchronous classes:

20. Be aware of the schedule of your asynchronous meetings.
21. Utilize asynchronous time effectively. Use it exclusively for this course.
22. Assessment tasks are usually being given during asynchronous classes. They have to be accomplished
during asynchronous classes, as much as possible.

D. Attendance:
23. The checking of attendance begins on the first day of the quarter.
24. Attendance will be checked within the first 10 minutes of the meeting.
25. Open the Zoom on time and leave the Zoom meeting on time or when dismissed by the professor.
26. ABS will be given to students who will be absent in all the synchronous meetings. ABS will automatically
receive a 5.00 in the Final Grade.
27. Error in the attendance record must be reported immediately to the teacher for rectification. Attendance
record that was not reported for rectification, after one week that a student has started reporting, may
not be rectified anymore.
28. The teacher reserves the right to devise another way of checking the attendance. It may be in the form of
an activity instead of the usual roll call.
29. Change your name in Zoom so that you can easily be identified. Use this format: SECTION-SURNAME,
FIRST NAME. (Note: All in capital letters)

to the teacher for instructions on what to do.
34. It is the responsibility of the individual student to check if their submitted assessment has been checked
and read the comments or feedback about the assessment (if there is any).
35. When submitting a late assessment task, always indicate the reason for not being able to submit on time.
F. Report / Presentation
36. The teacher may not allow reporters / presenters who are inappropriately dressed.
