    Variables are important to understand because they are the basic units of the
    information studied and interpreted in research studies. Probability Improve
    decision- making in the face of uncertainties.

    Examples:
    Between 50 and 72 inches. There are literally millions of possible heights:
    52.04762 inches, 69.948376 inches and etc.
    Rolling two standard six-sided dice. Each dice has a 1/6 probability of
    rolling any single number.
