The Bauhaus was founded in 1919 in the city of Weimar by German

architect Walter Gropius. Its core objective to reimagine the material


world to reflect the unity of all the arts. 
The Bauhaus combined elements of both fine arts and design
education. The curriculum involved the study of materials, color
theory, and formal relationships in preparation for more specialized
studies. New courses like woodcarving, stone sculpture, cabinet painting, pottery, glass
painting, graphic art, interior design, typography and wall painting were added in 1920. In 1925,
the Bauhaus moved from Weimar to Dessau. In Oct, 1932 Bauhaus in
Dessau shuts down due to Nazi’s attempt. Berlin was the last phase of Bauhaus in 1932.
However in 1933 there was a Dissolution of Bauhaus.

People would always use the technology they had available to help make their
lives easier and at the same time try to perfect it and bring it to the next level.
This is how the concept of the industrial revolution began.
