About ICAI
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants
Act, 1949 for regulating the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. ICAI is the second largest accounting body in
the whole world with a strong tradition of service to the public interest and to the Indian economy. During its more than
sixty eight years of existence, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accounting body not only in the country but also
globally, for maintaining highest standards in technical, ethical areas and for sustaining stringent examination and
education standards.

Kasturbhai Lalbhai Management Development Centre (KLMDC) located on the IIMA main campus and the
International Management Development Centre (IMDC) located on the new campus, provide an academic and
learning environment for participants of the Executive Education Programmes. All rooms at KLMDC and IMDC are air-
conditioned and have internet connectivity. They have separate dining halls, a reading lounge, classrooms and
auditorium (with audio-visual and computer projection facilities), syndicate rooms and computer lab. The campus is
Wi-Fi enabled. Recreation facilities exist for indoor and outdoor games (badminton, basketball, billiards, carrom, chess,
cricket, football, squash, TT and volleyball). Participants can also take advantage of the Institute's library.
