Write down the name of the 4 main characters in the narrative of Daniel, state their meanings, and briefly explain their significance in our lives as
believers.

Daniel – means God is my judge; Belteshazzar – means may ‘Bel’ protect his life

Hannaniah – means my God is gracious

Mishael – means who is what God is

Azariah – means Yaweh has helped; Abenego – means servant of Nebo

1. What does each name say about who God is?

Each name has said that God is my judge, He is gracious, who is what God is, and Yaweh has helped.

2. What does those characteristics of God mean for us??

It means that God is always there for us that He is available to help us whenever we need Him.

3. How will it impact my reading of the book of Daniel?

It will make it easier for me to understand and comprehend Daniel.

It is important to read the Bible carefully because everything that has said in the Bible has a meaning on why it is stated in the Bible
specifically. There may be misguided point of view when you read it at first, so having as much as many resources can help you understand it
better

2. How can you be faithful to God amidst life’s persecutions? Would you still remain faithful even if it means trouble in your life?
