31 representation be the presiding officer for today? Hon. Ariel Duran is recognized.
32 Hon. Ariel P. Duran – Mr. Chair, I would like to nominate Hon. Joquint Orejola to be our presiding officer for today’s regular session.

41 of the Local Government Unit of Basey are present of this regular session, the Temporary Presiding Officer Pro Tempore declares a quorum.
42 Hon. Ariel P. Duran – Mr. Chair, just for the record, since the Chair-Committee on Rules is absent, I would like to confirm with Hon. Quebec
43 with the concurrence of our Order of Business for today with the concurrence to sign in replacement of our chairman to conform our Business for
44 today.
45 Presiding Officer Pro Tempore – There is a manifestation to Hon. Quebec with regards to the manifestation made by the Hon. Ariel Duran.

55 temporary presiding officer of this regular session, I just would like to inform the body that this humble representation will be leaving for Tacloban
56 at exactly 1 o’clock this afternoon to attend the very important activity in line with our oath taking ceremony as a Regional Officer of the National
57 Movement for young legislators, just for the record. With that, I think it is right and proper that we suspend the session considering that we will not
58 meet the minimum required numbers for us to have a regular session this morning, so, having said that, may we request from anyone, Hon. Duran
59 to make a motion for the recess of our regular session.
60 Secretary – Mr. Chair, may I manifest that, even without your presence, that body has still its quorum because there are six members present, still
61 majority. So, it’s up to the body to proceed.
62 Hon. Ariel P. Duran – Mr. Chair, just a manifestation even if you will leave at 1P.M. this afternoon, if it is okay for the body to elect or not to
63 elect a new presiding officer of this session….
