29 July 2011 ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF LBFCSI STUDENTS Dear Parents/ Guardians: In behalf of my fellow elected and delegated officers

of Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) of LBFCSI for SY 2011-2012, warm greetings! This letter intends to inform you about the important matters that were deliberated and agreed upon during the first monthly meeting of PTF officers held last July 8, 2011. Among them were (1) the important issues and concerns involving our students, parents/guardians and the school that need to be addressed, (2) projects and activities which us parents and guardians- channeled through the PTF- would initiate and carry out; the proceeds of which are mainly for the welfare and interest of the students and school, and (3) the fund-generating activities to ensure that our proposed projects and activities will be pushed through and accomplished according to plan (Please see attached copy. If you wish to get the detailed copy of minutes of the meeting, you may get it from our PTF Secretary, Mrs. Anivee Manuel). The proposed means to generate funds are not in any way an activity of the School management but of ours in PTF. Other identified PTFled interventions, activities and projects are subject to consultation with and approval by the School management. Recognizing the need of your participation and cooperation, we ask for your opinion and suggestion to help PTF officers identify other concerns which you think need immediate attention. We have already posted the list of new PTF officers at the schools bulletin board, so please feel free to approach any of us. We have also created a blog to serve as an added avenue to communicate with us and get updates of our projects and activities; please visit ptfellowship2011.blogspot.com. I do entertain text messages but in the event of unexpected circumstances and I may not be able to reply, please understand. You may also raise your queries and concerns to other PTF officers and especially to your respective PTF class PROs who would serve as our PTF Focal Persons. Also, we come to you to ask for help in raising funds. In this regard, the easiest and most convenient way would be to ask for a monthly contribution from you. We intend not to make it compulsory or impose a specific amount so we designed a fill-out form where you are given options to choose from (please see attached pro-forma). Our respective PTF class PROs (and class adviser) shall be the ones to collect the contributions and remit them to the PTF treasurer. Upon your approval, monthly collection shall commence in August 2011 and signed notes/receipts will be given to properly acknowledge your contributions. We are also planning to conduct a rummage sale as part of our fund-raising activity. We ask for your in-kind donations which we are going to collect until August 27, 2011. Drop boxes will be placed at the registrars office or you may leave your donations to the class advisers along with a small piece of paper with your childs name printed on it just so we know where they come from.
